Just this weekend, Small Hands Big Hearts joined forces with CityServe for an incredible day of service — and what a day it was! With energy, compassion, and a shared mission to lift up our local community, our volunteers helped sort clothing, toys, and gifts donated to those in need. It was a powerful reminder that when we come together, even the smallest hands can make a massive impact.

CityServe, a foundation devoted to serving the vulnerable, opened its doors to us. Together, with their team, our volunteers rolled up their sleeves and tackled the challenge of sorting hundreds of donations, helping make sure that every piece of clothing and every toy can reach the families who need them most. Thanks to our volunteers, we made significant progress in organizing hundreds of donations, making it easier for CityServe to distribute these essential items quickly and efficiently.

The smiles, teamwork, and spirit of generosity were contagious. We weren't just folding shirts and stacking toys; we were creating hope, one gift at a time. Every box sorted and every rack organized was another step toward helping families feel seen, valued, and supported.

At Small Hands Big Hearts, we believe that service isn’t about grand gestures — it's about showing up, helping out, and giving from the heart. This event was a perfect example of that. Whether it was untangling hangers, categorizing clothing by size, or sorting out the perfect stuffed animal for a child, every action made a difference.

We are so proud of what we accomplished with CityServe, and even more excited about what’s to come. Helping our community isn’t just a one-time event; it’s a way of life. And we hope more people will join us next time —

"Because when many small hands come together, big hearts create lasting change."

So if you are passionate and interested in volunteering, feel free to join us. If you have any further doubts or questions, please email smallhandsbigheartsfdtn@gmail.com.
