On Saturday, December 6, Small Hands Big Hearts had the wonderful opportunity to come together with CityServe, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting local communities in need. With their partnership and the help of many generous donors, we were able to help create a Free and Jolly Christmas Market for local families who needed a little extra support this holiday season.
The event made a real impact on many people in our community who were lacking food, daily necessities, warm clothing, and more. Everything at the market was offered completely free of charge, thanks to the kindness of individuals and organizations who donated items big and small. From pantry staples and hygiene products to toys, clothing and festive surprises, each item was selected with care and the hope that it would brighten someone’s Christmas.
Throughout the day, the atmosphere was full of warmth and holiday cheer. Volunteers from Small Hands Big Hearts and various other welcoming organizations worked side-by-side with CityServe staff, setting up tables, and helping families find exactly what they needed. There was something truly special about seeing people’s faces light up as they received gifts chosen just for them. The joy was contagious, every smile, every “thank you,” and every moment of connection reminded us why giving back matters so much.
These gifts weren’t just supplies, they were reminders that the community cares. Small Hands Big Hearts is incredibly grateful to have been part of such a meaningful event, and we hope to continue partnering with CityServe for many years to come. Together, we can keep spreading kindness, support, and holiday joy to those who need it most —
"Because when many small hands come together, big hearts create lasting change."
